Easter Basket Gift Guide
For Easter we usually just get our kids one simple gift and then a cute Easter outfit to wear. We like to keep holidays small and simple and we choose to get quality/meaningful fun gifts rather than quantity.
We put together a small gift guide of gifts that we love or have amazing reviews. We tried to include gifts for children of all ages between 4 months - 12 years. Scroll down for information on each item and links to the item.
1. Plan of Happiness Board Book
At Latter Day Baby we get asked often which books we have that would be great for Easter. Our Plan of Happiness teaches about the atonement of Christ, illustrates the crucifixion, and teaches his resurrection and how we will all be resurrected like Him. It is our best book for teaching Easter and our most popular book.
2. The Sacrament Board Book
Our Sacrament book is our second most popular book and perfect to read to your kids every Sacrament meeting to help teach the meaning behind the ordinance. Its good for Easter because it teaches about the Atonement.
3. Animal Matching Game
This game contains ten different matching cards illustrated with different animals. It is great for young children ages 18 months - 5 years.
4. Carrot Teether
My kids loved these silicone teethers when they were getting teeth in. This one is so cute and perfect for spring and Easter.
5. Easter Matching Eggs
This is a fun toy for young kids where they match the different shapes inside the egg. Great exercise for hand eye coordination and learning colors and shapes. This toy was my kids favorite on this guide to play with.
6. Easter Stuffed Bunny
This is a simple cute bunny that is good quality that you can add to any age Easter basket.
7. Wooden Fishing Magnet Game
My kids love these fishing games. This one has a of the alphabet on each fish. The board that you fish from has two sides with two different ways to fish.
8. Wooden Stacking Balance Blocks
I mostly love the way these rocks look sitting on a table. They have beautiful colors and are fun to try and stack and fun for kids of honestly all ages to play with.
9. Carrot Shape Size Sorting Puzzle
This game is so fun for young kids! Each carrot is a different size and you have to try and match it to the right whole. Its perfect for an Easter basket.
10. 3 Minute Gratitude Journal
My kids are still a little young for this gratitude journal but this would be a great gift for ages 4+. You could still use it with young children and just do it with them every night. Each page has a list where you write three things you were thankful for that day. Then it has a prompt where you fill in who brought you joy that day and how you feel. Then lastly a place to write or draw a picture about your day. Its a very affordable journal that could start a great nightly routine.
11. Book of Mormon and New Testament Aqua Brush
My kids love to do these during church. These ones are Book of Mormon and New Testament themed which is perfect for Easter.
12. Canvas Backpack
Everyone knows I love bags and no gift guide is complete without one. This bag would make the perfect gift for older children and is super affordable!
